How Much Is a Majorelle Garden Ticket in Marrakech? (2026 Prices)

A Majorelle Garden ticket costs 170 MAD for adults. Adding the Berber Museum makes it 230 MAD, and the combined ticket with the YSL Museum costs 330 MAD. Tickets are sold online only, for a fixed time slot.
The Majorelle Garden is a small botanical garden built around a cobalt blue studio. The painter Jacques Majorelle started it in the 1920s, and Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé bought it in 1980 and saved it from being turned into a hotel site. It is compact, so most visitors finish in under an hour and a half.
At 170 MAD it is one of the more expensive tickets in Marrakech, and the price has risen over the last few years. Older articles quote 70 to 150 MAD, which is why the number you see on blogs and the number on the booking page rarely match.
Is it worth it? If you like gardens, design or photography, yes. If you are on a tight budget, the Berber Museum is the better value of the extras, and the combined ticket only makes sense if you will actually visit the YSL Museum as well.

What actually changes the price
Which ticket you pick
The garden alone is 170 MAD. The Berber Museum adds 60 MAD, and the YSL Museum adds about 100 MAD on the combined ticket. Decide before you book, since a museum add-on is simpler to buy upfront.
Resident and student rates
Moroccans and foreign residents pay 75 MAD for the garden, roughly half the foreign adult price. International students and children from 10 pay 95 MAD.
Official site versus resellers
Tickets are sold on the foundation's own booking site. Resellers charge more, for example around 22 EUR for the garden, against roughly 16 EUR at the official price.
Fixed time slots
Your ticket is for a specific time. Arriving late can mean losing your slot, and the busiest hours sell out first.
What to expect
Arrive about 15 minutes before your slot. The entrance is on Rue Yves Saint Laurent in Gueliz, and there is a line to scan tickets even when you have already booked.
Inside, the paths loop between bamboo, cacti, palms and water basins, with the blue villa at the centre. The pots and walls are painted in the same cobalt, and the yellow accents are what you see in most photos.
The Berber Museum is in the old studio, and it holds about 600 objects, including jewellery, textiles and weapons from Amazigh communities. It closes 30 minutes before the garden.
Before you book
Book the first slot of the day. The garden opens at 8:00. The first hour is the only quiet time, and it makes the difference between a calm walk and a crowded one.
Book online, not at the door. There is no regular ticket desk on site. Use the foundation's official booking page and check the date and time before paying.
Plan the YSL Museum around Wednesday. The garden and the Berber Museum open every day, but the YSL Museum is closed on Wednesdays. If you want the combined ticket, pick another day.
Dress for a garden, not a palace. Paths are gravel and sand in places. Flat shoes and a hat are more useful than anything formal.
